The College

City College Plymouth supports the region's employers with its award-winning Apprenticeship provision, as well as providing a range of courses and bespoke training programmes which enable employees to upskill or retrain to better support their business's requirements.

The College offers a broad range of full-time, part-time and short courses from entry to degree-level, all supported by cutting-edge facilities such as the £13million Regional Centre of Excellence for STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) and our new Maths Centre for Excellence.

The College is also now working in partnership with the University of Plymouth and the University of Exeter and several other colleges across the region, along with a number of employers including Babcock, in a multimillion-pound bid that will enable the South West to  become one of the world’s leading region for digital, engineering and manufacturing technologies.

As part of the South West Institute of Technology, the College will invest in state-of-the-art facilities to help deliver a first-class curriculum - led by employer-need - that will bridge the skills gap in the local area, using funding provided by the Department for Education.
